The NFL season is just around the corner and that means we’re not only going t be getting season predictions, but also the first round of season prediction odds are coming in.

More from Dallas Cowboys

Each year, NFL coaches are on the hot seat but it’s always the journey to finding out who will be on the hot seat that is most interesting. Not everyone who is on the host seat gets fired and not everyone who isn’t on the hot seat ends the season with the same luck.

One coach who has rather consistently been on the hot seat is Jason Garrett of the Dallas Cowboys. Garrett has failed to lead the Cowboys anywhere significant during his tenure with the team, which is why fans are so confused as to why he’s still running the show.

According to Bovada, Garrett is the favorite among all NFL head coaches to be fired this season, as the odds of such a thing happening are at 2/1.

That doesn’t mean it will happen, as Garrett could turn the Cowboys around this season and lead them to the promised land, but the fact of the matter is he’s shown nothing in his past to give Cowboys fans hope that such a thing will happen and the likelihood that he’s fired is right where it needs to be.
