Team USA has assembled in Las Vegas to try and win the FIBA World Cup of Basketball and that’s a journey that starts on Saturday night when the American’s travel to play Brazil in an exhibition match to fine tune the squad.

Perhaps the biggest story of the night though will be how well the team plays in their first true match after losing Paul George to a devastating injury. The loss of George was not only a hit to the roster, but it has given players on the roster pause when it comes to how quickly their careers can be affected by playing for Team USA.

No one seems to be all that worried about the George injury, but it showed us how fragile these players really are and just what they’re putting on the line to represent their country in the World Cup.
