If a man is old enough to sport a bushy gray mustache can he really be referred to as a ball “boy” or must he be called something else?

These are the sorts of questions that can really haunt you while you’re lying awake at night. I don’t want to insult the guy by calling him a ball boy when he’s old enough to have possibly stormed the beach at Normandy. At the same time…ball man just doesn’t sound right.
I think it’s okay to call a dude a ball boy even if he’s got an AARP card. It’s just what that job is called.
Okay, so I’m going with ball boy even though that could be Wilford Brimley for all I know. Important point here? Guy sucks at being a ball boy.
He goes for this foul ball and not only whiffs but completely eats it. Loser!!!
I apologize to this elderly gentlemen who is probably a very distinguished individual who has done a lot of good things in his life and contributed mightily to the betterment of mankind. But that sucked.
