There is a little Washington on Washington crime going on in the nation’s capital as the political in-fighting isn’t being limited to Capitol Hill.

The Washington Redskins are already the most hated team in America, not because of how good they are but because of how racist and outdated their team name is. But there’s another reason to dislike the Redskins if you’re a sports fan in Washington and it’s die to the fact that the team is bogarting all attention at FedEx Field and isn’t sharing the venue with anyone.

According to The Washington Post, the Capitals have ruled out FedEx Field as a destination to host a Winter Classic game in 2015 thanks to the Redskins playing the Dallas Cowboys on Dec. 28th, which throws the plans for the Caps to host a game in the venue all out of whack.

FedEx Field has been ruled out, according to a person with knowledge of the discussions, because the Washington Redskins and Dallas Cowboys play there Dec. 28. That would leave little time to erect the outdoor rink for the 1 p.m. puck drop four days later.

The most likely destination for the Caps game will be in the home of the Washington Nationals, which is a DC destination and one of the most well known landmarks in the District.

Still, the Redskins just can’t seem to find people who like them for any reason, and that now extends to teams within their community.
