WWE SummerSlam results: Roman Reigns defeats Randy Orton (GIF)

Randy Orton vs. Roman Reigns

Randy Orton is out first for this one, followed by Reigns through the crowd with some new ring gear. The two men square off in the center of the ring and Reigns immediately begins teeing off on Orton. Randy quickly goes to the outside. After some action back and forth inside the ring, the two head to the outside.

On the outside, Orton starts picking Reigns apart, throwing him into the steel steps. He tosses him back into the ring and straps on a headlock in the center of the ring. Reigns tries to fight back, but Orton counters coming off the ropes. From there, Orton starts to stomp away.

Randy takes Reigns to the corner and sets him up on the top rope. He hammers away with some head butts from there. After pounding away, Orton hits a super plex from the top, and a beautiful one at that. He’s only able to get a two count.

Again Reigns tries to make a comeback, but Randy puts the stops to it and continues to work Reigns over.

In the middle of the ring, the two start trading blows, with Reigns getting the better of the exchange, and finishing it all up with a huge clothesline. On the outside, Orton throws Reigns into the barricade, once again stopping the comeback. He gets him back in the ring.

They make their way back to the outside, and Orton slams Reigns onto the announce table before tossing him back into the ring again.

Reigns is able to get back on the offensive and he hits a Samoan Drop from the top rope! He goes for the cover, but only gets a two. He gets up and hits the Superman Punch, knocking Orton out cold. He goes for the spear, but Randy hits a nice power slam as a counter.

With Reigns on the outside now, Orton hits the DDT from the ropes. Coming off the ropes, Orton hits an RKO out of nowhere, but Reigns kicks out!

Now, Randy is looking for the punt, but Reigns counters, hits the spear off the ropes and gets the three.
