The Washington Redskins are playing the Cleveland Browns on Monday Night Football in the preseason. Rookie quarterback Johnny Manziel was getting some first-team reps in the first quarter, but things weren’t exactly going well.
After a sack, the Redskins looked to taunt Manziel using his own famous hand signal. Redskins’ Brian Orakpo did the Manziel “money” sign as he backed away from the site of the tackle. Orakpo didn’t even make the play, it was Ryan Kerrigan who sacked Manziel.
The best part of it is that Manziel is back-pedaling away from the pile right next to Orakpo, but neither one of them seem to be aware of the other’s presence. It doesn’t look like Manziel was aware Orakpo was mocking him right next to him, and Orakpo seems unaware Manziel is next to him otherwise he might have directed it at him a little bit more.
There is also the interesting Texas Longhorns vs Texas A&M Aggies rivalry sub-plot to this situation.
