The Ice Bucket Challenge craze has spread to FC Barcelona, where Forward Neymar has nominated Juan Ziniga, the Colombian defender who infamously broke Neymar’s back in the semi-finals of the World Cup.

With Caleb Porter’s nomination of Pep Guardiola, it looks like the Ice Bucket Challenge has become a polite way for you to annoy your enemies. Neymar certainly has reason to have beef with the Colombian, after Zuniga was only centimeters away from breaking his back.

Neymar made a full recovery, and was able to play today in Barca’s preseason match up where he scored two goals. Barcelona is among the favorites to win La Liga with Real and Athletico. The team club was dealt a blow with the ban of Luis Suarez, but they did not seem to miss him today.

Zuniga and Napoli will compete for the Serie A crown, where Juventus are favorites behind Carlos Tevez and Arturo Vidal. Zuniga received death threats from angry fans over the foul, and was brought into protective custody back home in Colombia.

See the video of Zuniga’s challenge here. Zuniga has tasked Juan Cuadrado, James Rodriguez, and Pablo Armero next as the cycle continues. Colombia has an international friendly with the USA in September.
