There is some sad news to report in the college football world. Kent State has announced that Jason Bitsko, the team’s starting center, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday morning. Bitsko, a former high school teammate of Ohio State quarterback Braxton Miller, was found dead in his apartment.
He was just 21 years old.
According to initial reports, Bitsko passed away in his sleep from an unspecified medical issue at his off-campus apartment.

Bitsko, a 6-foot-5, 280 junior from Huber Heights, Ohio, started all 12 games at right tackle last season.
He was expected to make the move inside to center in 2014.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Bitsko family and Kent State football team, as they deal with the unexpected tragedy and loss of their family member and friend.
