Northern Illinois is going to play basketball on what can only be described as being decorated by elementary school students. It’s a court that looks like someone filled most of it in with a giant sharpie. That’s not a paint job, it’s a bored doodle.

It looks like it took some first-year design student a whole afternoon to dream up using MS Paint. Didn’t anyone go over the plans before painting the court?

Take a look for yourself:

Nope, just go straight from a rough MS Paint sketch to the final design. Now you’re stuck with it, NIU. You have to play basketball on a court that appears to have been worked up over some freshman’s lunch break, in between bites of egg salad sandwich and sips of Mello Yello.

No I’m kidding NIU, it looks great. Black is COOL. Everyone knows that. Add black to anything and it automatically becomes 150% more bad-ass. Try it some time. Add a little black to Jim Nantz, he goes from being a total square to a somewhat cool individual.

Well it’s not like I was going to watch any Northern Illinois games anyway.
