As most of you know by now, production has finally kicked into high gear for the long anticipated DC Comics tale which has come to be known as Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice.
Over the course of the past few weeks, there have been numerous set photos that have made their way to the internet, like the ones of Ben Affleck as Batman’s everyday alter ego Bruce Wayne; as well as short video clips from the set and the film’s production.
Thanks to MTV, things are finally starting to get a little hot in here. Earlier today, the cable network posted an image to their site that shows Henry Cavill, who is reprising his role as the Man of Steel himself in the upcoming film, donning his new super suit being used in the upcoming film.
It would seem as if the studio is trying half-heartedly to keep the world from gazing upon the new suit by forcing Cavill to wear this massively sized floor-length black overcoat; however, the people at MTV were still able to sneak a peek.
As they point out in their article, in the image – which you can see below, the costume is shaded in order to accentuate the muscularity of the Kryptonian hero. While we know that Henry Cavill is pretty buff, the muscles seem to look at a little more comic book than we would have expected; however, at the end of the day, the suit does not disappoint.
The colors on the suit, especially the red in the cape, seem to pop very well which will make for a better looking image on the big screen.
Why don’t you take a peek for yourselves? Here’s a look at the latest set photo from the upcoming film Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice.
What you think of Henry Cavill’s suit in the upcoming Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice? Does the suit accurately represent the hero or do you think the muscles are a bit much? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice is being directed by Man of Steel director Zack Snyder. The script for the film is being penned by Argo screenwriter Chris Terrio based off of a story put together by Snyder and The Dark Knight storyteller David S. Goyer.
Of course, none of this would be possible without Bob Kane and Bill Finger, who are responsible for the creation of Batman, and Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, who are responsible for the creation of the man of steel himself, Superman.
The film stars Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill as Batman and Superman respectively.Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice also stars Amy Adams, Jason Momoa, Gal Gadot, Diane Lane, Jesse Eisenberg, Jeremy Irons, Holly Hunter, Laurence Fishburne, and many more.
Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice is scheduled to be released on March 25, 2016.
