Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry, James Harden and Anthony Davis were doing an interview for the NBA 2K Uncensored event on Tuesday and were asked some interesting questions. One of which was about when their paths crossed for the first time.

Oklahoma City Thunder star and league MVP Durant instantly jumped in with a story about playing Golden State Warrior’s sharp shooter Curry at the age of 10.

“I was about 10-years-old, and our AAU team drove down to Charlotte to play,” Durant said. “I thought he was white.”

“Where I come from in the hood we don’t see that, we don’t see the light skinned guys, it’s guys like me.”

And it looks like because he thought Curry was white, he didn’t think he’d be able to shoot.

“I walk into the gym and Steph’s at half court and pulled a jump shot. I was like ‘he’s not making this.’ Splash. When we played him he had like 35 points.”

He went on to talk about when he saw him playing 10 years later and realizing who he was, admitting that it was cool to see him at that age and now.
