The Sacramento Kings haven’t been very good in recent seasons, but that doesn’t mean they don’t share a natural rivalary with the Golden State Warriors.

More from Golden State Warriors

No matter the records, both the Warriors and Kings appear a little extra motivated when the two hit the court and each sides seem to exchange haymaker after haymaker. Of course, things are all friendly right now considering Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry is a teammate of Sacramento Kings big man DeMarcus Cousins on Team USA.

That doesn’t mean the two can’t have a little fun with each other however.

DeMarcus Cousins, who has shown an increased ability to hit from deep this offseason has constantly suggested he’s going to become the third ‘splashbrother’ thanks to his improved range. Curry, along with his Warriors teammate Klay Thompson are the original’s of course and it seems Cousins wants to join in.

Given that, with camera rolling and Curry standing next to him, the Sacramento Kings center began bombing three point shot after three point shot during Team USA’s practice. Only problem? He was having an off day as neither of his attempts went through the bucket allowing Curry to give him a good trolling.

Ouch. Somebody get the Coppertone, because that’s a burn.

I’m guessing this won’t be the last time we see DeMarcus Cousins attempt to wiggle his way into the exclusive club of Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson as few in the league are more competitive than the former Kentucky Wildcat.

Also nice to see the fun-loving side to Cousins, something many outside of Sacramento don’t often see.
