WNBA Playoffs 2014 live streaming information: Silver Stars vs Lynx

More from WNBA

On Thursday night, the 2014 WNBA Playoffs get underway with a Western Conference match up between the No. 2 seed Minnesota Lynx and No. 3 seed San Antonio Silver Stars at the Target Center in Minneapolis.

The Lynx will be entering the postseason with WNBA MVP and reigning WNBA Finals MVP Maya Moore leading the way as they look to defend their title.

With the Lynx playing at such a high level, head coach Cheryl Reeve does not buy into the fact that it is a clean slate for both sides because her team has worked hard all season long to find their identity.

“We don’t subscribe to that notion that the slate is wiped clean and it’s 0-0 and it’s a new season,” Reeve said, via the team’s official website. “It’s true from a record standpoint, but it’s not true from an identity standpoint. You can’t change who you are. You can’t suddenly become a great offensive team if you’re not. You can’t suddenly become a great defensive team if you’re not.

“We take a great deal of comfort in knowing that we know what it takes to win games. We believe we’re the best team in the league and we know that we’ve got to back it up with our play.”
