Celebrity gossip website TMZ has released video of Tampa Bay Buccaneers rookie wide receiver Mike Evans getting in a fight outside a night club. TMZ says the fight was on Saturday night.

"It all went down outside Dream Nightclub … where the #7 overall pick in the 2014 NFL draft was screaming at bouncers. We’re told Evans had been partying inside the club moments before the video begins. While Evans — who just turned 21 yesterday — unloads on the staff, a person who appears to be in Mike’s entourage throws a punch at a bouncer … and that’s when all hell breaks loose."

That isn’t great news for the Buccaneers, but Evan’s agent has some new information. Deryk Gilmore, Evans’ agent, says the fight occurred in March, not Saturday. That means it would’ve occurred before the Buccaneers drafted him in the first-round in May’s draft.

That doesn’t necessarily make it alright or acceptable behavior. But that has to be a positive for the Buccaneers and Evans looking to avoid punishment from the league if it did in fact occur in March.
