San Francisco 49ers do ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, challenge Ric Flair
By Jack Crosby
As we saw after this past Sunday night at WWE SummerSlam, after her successful match against Brie Bella WWE executive Stephanie McMahon challenged the entire San Francisco 49ers football team to complete the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, after she completed her own.

Well a few members of the 49ers team did accept the challenge on behalf of the team, and they came right back at WWE with their own challenge. They nominated the one and only Nature Boy Ric Flair.
Just follow the link below that was provided by the team’s website to watch the video.
This, as far as we know, is the second occurrence where the 16-time world champion has been called out for the challenge. Flair is rather close to the 49ers organization, as he went to talk to them this past January, prior to their NFC Playoff Game against the Carolina Panthers.
As far as why Stephanie challenged the team in the first place, well, WWE and the 49ers have sort of struck up a bit of a relationship, with next year’s WrestleMania being held in the beautiful venue that is Levi’s Stadium.
