The Chicago Bears are looking for a No. 3 wide receiver to slide next to Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery but so far they haven’t been able to find a hands down solution to their problem.

More from Chicago Bears

However, it’s looking like new addition Santonio Holmes could be a guy who steps up and helps the Bears out as he’s been impressing the Bears so far with his work in training camp.
According to Chicago Tribune scribe Brad Biggs, the Bears are likely yo give Holmes more and more work as he continues to impress and earn a roster spot with the team.

There isn’t a roster spot for Holmes just yet, as he’s signed to the minimum and needs to earn his keep in Chicago, but so far that seems to be happening.

Holmes could be great in the Bears offense as a fourth option as Marshall, Jeffery and tight end martellus Bennett are all looking to have big statistical years, but for Holmes this season is less about stats and more about salvaging his career.
