While quarterbacks across the country garner favor and, eventually, Heisman Trophy attention, there is no shortage of quality running backs in the world of college football. The 2014 season is upon us, and while a great deal of the spotlight continues to shine on returning Heisman winner Jameis Winston and top NFL Draft hopefuls like Oregon’s Marcus Mariota and UCLA’s Brett Hundley, the ball carriers have the potential to steal the headlines if the group lives up to its sizable potential.
