In just a matter of days, the Los Angeles Dodgers will call up five-tool prospect Joc Pederson and his days of traveling on a minor league bus will be over.

More from Los Angeles Dodgers

One of the better prospects in baseball, Pederson is not expected to head back down to the Dodgers’ Triple A-affiliate, the Albuquerque Isotopes so he wants to say goodbye to fans in the best way he knows how. He’s going to give away his piece of junk, 1994 Buick with over 166,000 miles on it.

Better yet? Joc Pederson’s teaming up with the Isotopes and it will be a game giveaway.

"The car, nicknamed “Little Chucky,” has only 166,000 miles on it and has at least one operable window, which is really all you need. It is perfect for cruising around during the New Mexico summers with its “awesome” stereo system and lack of air conditioning. Kelly Blue Book estimates the value at nearly $1,000 (depending on if it has a full tank of gas). Little Chucky will also come with two complimentary air fresheners and whatever else Pederson forgets to clean out.The Isotopes guarantee 100 percent that this distinctive car will carry you all the way to your next destination out of the Isotopes Park parking lot. A satisfactory safety inspection has been completed on the vehicle."

I’m not sure if that’s one of the coolest things I’ve ever heard or if that’s the worst giveaway in history.

On the plus side, hell of a way for Joc Pederson to rid himself of his clunker since he’ll be able to buy a much more updated ride with a lucrative Major League Baseball salary.
