Dolphins’ RB Damien Williams bulldozes his way to TD (GIF)

Miami Dolphins running back Damien Williams struggled badly in the team’s first two preseason games, racking up just 22 yards on 17 attempts.

So it was key for the 22-year-old to have a big night in Miami’s third preseason contest versus the Dallas Cowboys.
Well, Williams is having just that. He has racked up 31 yards on six carries (5.2 yards per carry), highlighted by an impressive one-yard touchdown run to give the Dolphins the 11-6 lead over the Cowboys in the third quarter.

While only a one-yard score, Williams does a nice job breaking a tackle and bulldozing his way into the endzone.
Williams isn’t the only Dolphins back to have success versus Dallas. Knowshon Moreno has 64 yards on 10 carries.
The Dolphins were one of the NFL’s worst rushing teams in the NFL this past season, averaging 90.0 yards on the ground per game, good for 26th in the league. It would be huge for them if they are able to get some solid production from guys like Moreno and Williams.
