The trade we all knew was coming officially happened on Saturday, with the Cleveland Cavaliers acquiring Kevin Love in a three-team trade that had them parting with Andrew Wiggins, Anthony Bennett, and a first-round pick.

Cavaliers superstar LeBron James was quick to welcome Love to Cleveland on Twitter.

Now, Cavs point guard Kyrie Irving has done the same on the social media site.

Irving refers to Love as “Wes” because the big man has made an appearance under that name in Kyrie’s “Uncle Drew” commercials for Pepsi.

All is certainly well in Cleveland right now, and it’s understandable why James and Irving seem to be so enthused by Love’s arrival.

With Love, Irving and James in the fold, the Cavaliers are the no-brainer favorite to emerge from the Eastern Conference next season. The Cavs also added Mike Miller, James Jones, Shawn Marion and possibly Ray Allen (he’s still deciding if he wants to return for next season, but Cleveland is the frontrunner to sign him if he does) to bolster its bench.

Cleveland won 33 games this past season, but don’t be surprised if they are hoisting the Larry O’Brien trophy next June.

Love averaged 26.1 points and 12.5 rebounds per games in his final season with the Minnesota Timberwolves.
