Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning is likely the best signal caller in the NFL today, so he has little to prove during preseason action. But that doesn’t make it any less cool to see him pull off some big plays as he prepares for the upcoming regular season.

Manning completed one his best throws of the preseason on Saturday night versus the Houston Texas, a deep pass to Emmanuel Sanders that eventually went for a 65-yard touchdown with 1:07 left in the second quarter.

But Manning and Sanders weren’t done. Just over a minute later the two connected on a 29-yard score that pushed Denver’s lead to 17-7.

The Broncos signed Sanders this offseason away from the Pittsburgh Steelers, but it doesn’t seem as if its taking too long for the wideout to get acquainted with his new quarterback. Sanders made news earlier this summer for praising Manning’s work ethic and downplaying it of Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger.
