Sunday night on NBC, the Arizona Cardinals and Cincinnati Bengals are playing their third preseason game of the year, and the Cardinals’ offense almost got things off to a quick start, courtesy of Carson Palmer and Michael Floyd.

More from Arizona Cardinals

On their first possession of the game as they were driving down the field, Palmer dropped back and noticed that he had a wide open Floyd streaking down the sideline.

The only problem was, Palmer overshot Floyd, who would have more than likely had a clear path to the end zone for the six points.

Watch the play in the video provided below.

With players like Palmer, Floyd and Larry Fitzgerald, this Arizona offense is expected to be one of the best the NFL has to offer this season, however they have to take advantages of opportunities they get like this, or else they will not be living up to the hype.

That opening drive for the Cardinals ended with the team getting no points, which also is not a good sign.

To make matters worse, the team’s second possession of the game ended with Palmer throwing a pick-six to veteran Terence Newman, so things are shaky to start for this group, to say the least.
