The Baylor Bears rode the right arm of quarterback Bryce Petty and a high-powered offense and vastly underrated defense, but can Art Briles’ team pull off a second straight Big 12 title this year?

Oklahoma may have something to say about that after their performance against Alabama in the Sugar Bowl when quarterback Trevor Knight had his coming out party in the win. Bob Stoops and the Sooners will be out for revenge after being blown out by the Bears last year, but was Knight a one-hit wonder or is he the real deal?

Is it a just two-team race this season in the Big 12 or can Bill Snyder work his magic at Kansas State and make things interesting? How about first-year head coach Charlie Strong at Texas?

Without further ado, here is the 2014 preseason Big 12 power rankings.
