Borussia Dortmund confident Marco Reus staying for a long time

One of the hottest names in summer transfer windo rumors this year has been Broussia Dortmund’s Marco Reus. He has been linked with some of the biggest clubs in Europe, like Manchester United and Barcelona.

From Sky Sports:

Borussia Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp says he is very confident that Marco Reus will stay at the cub for a long time.

“I can tell you I have a great feeling regarding Marco Reus’ future at Borussia Dortmund,” Klopp told Deutsche Presseagentur.

“Marco will definitely be around at our club for quite a while.”

Reus is under contract with Dortmund until 2017, so he’d likely be with the club until at least then if the club is set on keeping him around.

As for whether Reus wants to stay with Dortmund or not, that is up in the air. Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo claimed Reus turned down an offer to join Manchester United this summer when discussing his club’s own chances of signing Reus.

“I don’t know where the Marco Reus rumour came from,” Cerezo said.

“It’s a player who, at this time, is impossible to us.

“Look, he had an offer for a lot of money from Manchester United and he has not gone…we will not sign him with a lesser offer.”
