Although Phoenix Suns’ guard Eric Bledsoe is one of their more talented young players in the NBA, they have not been able to come to an agreement. Bledsoe is reportedly seeking a five-year max deal while the Suns are offering him a four-year deal worth $48 million. That has led many to speculate the Suns could deal Bledsoe in a sign-and-trade.

More from Atlanta Hawks

Chuck Myron of Hoops Rumors believes the Atlanta Hawks and Houston Rockets are the most likely destinations for Bledsoe.

"The qualifying offer only applies to the Suns, and for obvious reasons neither Bledsoe nor the team that would acquire him would want to agree to a one-year deal for $3MM and change. Part of the report that surfaced when the Suns asked the Wolves about a last-minute Bledsoe-for-Love trade was that Bledsoe would demand the max as part of that, so I think that’s what he wants regardless of where he goes. I think the Rockets and Hawks loom as interesting potential sign-and-trade destinations, but that’s just my speculation."

Both the Hawks and Rockets entered the offseason with extremely high hopes in free agency and neither met them. Bringing Bledsoe in would obviously change that.

Bledsoe averaged 17.7 points, 5.5 assists, 4.7 rebounds and 1.6 steals per game while shooting 47.7% from the field, 35.7% from beyond the arc and 77.2% from the free throw line last season. In his four-year NBA career, the 18th-overall pick in the first round of the 2010 NBA draft, has averaged 8.7 points, 3.4 assists, 3.0 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game while shooting 44.5% from the floor, 32.7% from three and 75.8% from the charity stripe.
