Gone Girl: Suspicion is mounting in new trailer (Video)

In just about one more month, we will finally be able to begin to unravel the mystery behind the disappearance of Amy Dunne in the new thriller Gone Girl.

The good news is, fans don’t have to wait that long in order to get another look at the upcoming film.

Earlier this month, Twentieth Century Fox unveiled a new poster for the film that cast doubt on Amy’s husband Nick as the one who caused her premature demise.

In the latest trailer for Gone Girl, that makes that shadow of doubt even darker.

In Gone Girl, Ben Affleck plays a man by the name of Nick Dunne. In the beginning, his relationship with his wife Amy was the picture of perfection. Unfortunately, before anyone even knew what happened, their relationship took a turbulent turn for the worse.

Now that she has gone missing, all fingers are pointing at him. Is he the one who is responsible for her untimely demise, or is he embroiled in the mother of all cover ups? We guess we’ll have to wait and see.

In the meantime, let’s take a look at the new trailer for the upcoming mystery thriller Gone Girl.

The film is being directed by David Fincher, the man who brought you films like The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and The Social Network.

Gone Girl is based off of the novel of the same name by bestselling author Gillian Flynn, who also wrote the screenplay for the film.

The film stars Ben Affleck as Nick Dunne and Rosamund Pike as his wife Amy Elliott Dunne. Gone Girl also stars How I Met Your Mother’s Neil Patrick Harris, Missy Pyle, Tyler Perry, Patrick Fugit, Scoot McNairy, Kim Dickens, and many more.

Gone Girl is scheduled to be released on October 3, 2014.
