No. 10 – Michael Bennett – DE – Seattle Seahawks

Michael Bennett may not be a name that pops into the average NFL fan’s mind when you discuss the league’s top pass rushers, but he absolutely deserves to be on this list. While he may have only totaled 8.5 sacks in 2014, his 65 total pressures on only 617 snaps was impressive. That means he created a QB pressure on about 10.53% of the plays he was on the field last season.

That percentage was third best amongst the players I looked at behind only Robert Quinn and Elvis Dumervil. He actually created two more total pressures than NFL sack leader Robert Mathis did despite playing 240 less snaps. His PFF pass rush grade of +22.5 was the third highest in the NFL last season amongst 4-3 defensive ends. Michael Bennett may not put up prolific sack numbers or be a household name, but few are as efficient at providing pressure on the QB on a consistent basis as he is.
