Many people rank LeBron James as the best basketball player in the NBA (I have Kevin Durant as number one). A lot of people who regard James as the best player in the NBA also think fondly of point guard Stephen Curry. For some reason a lot of people do not seem to think Curry is in the upper echelon of talent in the NBA. Many people would not include him within their top ten lists, and frankly he is.

So in an interview with Dan Patrick, Curry had this to say about James:

A better offensive player, me or LeBron? That’s the first time I’ve ever been asked that question…Me. He obviously demands a lot of attention on the floor, but I like to say I can distribute, get my teammates involved and be a playmaker as well.

Since Curry said those words, we are going to look at the criteria for rating offensive players and what makes their teams great.

Here is a debate between Stephen Curry and LeBron James. Who is the better offensive player? The results may surprise you.
