[UPDATE:] The decision has been made, and the suspension has been upheld.
—-end of update—-
The decision regarding Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon’s situation still hasn’t come yet. Gordon had appealed his suspension for violating the league’s substance abuse policy.
But weeks have gone by and there has been no decision yet as to what Gordon’s future will be, but Pro Football Talk is reporting that the decision is coming soon.
This is hardly a surprise but I was just told the Josh Gordon decision is coming soon. #definesoon

It is “hardly a surprise” because there were reports earlier in the week that the decision had been made, but for whatever reason has not been announced. But the Browns apparently are still unaware of what that decision is, so it isn’t just the public that is in the dark on this one.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that the Browns are “frustrated” and “Baffled” as to why it has taken so long to decide and hand down a ruling on the situation.
Grodon’s potential suspension is because of a second failed marijuana test back during the spring. He reportedly had a strong case for an appeal given the light two-game suspension given to Ray Rice for a more serious issue, hitting his fiancee and the technicalities which saw Gordon fail his test barely and basically by chance.
