On Friday afternoon, former UFC champion Renan Barao passed out during his weight cut and was forced to withdraw from his scheduled title bout against current champion TJ Dillashaw in the main event of UFC 177 at Sleep Train Arena in Sacramento, California.
Not only did Barao lose this opportunity to win back his UFC strap, but he has also gone to the back of the line and will not be receiving a title shot when he is healthy enough to return to the Octagon.
UFC president Dana White informed the media following the official UFC 177 weigh-ins.
Dana just said to the media that Barao will not get a title shot upon returning.

It is unfortunate for Barao to have his body let him down in such a big moment, but that is what happens when you are not 100 percent prepared for a fight.
Dillashaw will now face off against UFC newcomer Joe Soto in the main event of tomorrow’s pay-per-view.
