Seattle Seahawks release Terrelle Pryor

The defending Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks are finalizing their 53-man roster in anticipation of the start of the 2014-15 regular season, and Terrelle Pryor is on the outs.
Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk reported that the Seahawks will be releasing the back up quarterback.
Pryor lost the competition for the third-string quarterback job.

The Seahawks traded a 2014 seventh-round draft pick to the Oakland Raiders in exchange for Pryor back on April 21 of this year.
With Pryor on the outs, the Seattle Seahawks quarterback depth chart looks as follows:
- Russell Wilson
- Tarvaris Jackson
- B.J. Daniels
Since joining the NFL as a third-round pick in the 2011 Supplemental Draft, Pryor has thrown for 1,798 yards, seven touchdowns and 11 interceptions.
Teams around the league have until 4 p.m. ET on Saturday to get to their final roster.
