Once again last season, the Crimson Tide were dominant throughout most of the campaign, but things did not finish nearly the way they would have liked them to. They ended the year with back-to-back losses, beginning with that stunner in the Iron Bowl to Auburn. Despite missing out on the SEC West title, they were still able to earn a BCS berth to the Sugar Bowl, where they were unfortunately routed by the Oklahoma Sooners.
So you know that on Saturday night, this will be an angry ‘Bama team on the field, led by Blake Sims, who was just named the starting QB on Thursday.
This West Virginia team comes into this one after suffering through a horrible campaign in 2013 that left them out of the bowl picture completely. It’ll be a tough task to bounce back against this Alabama team, however we have seen crazier things happen before.
