One of the best parts of the college football season is watching ESPN College GameDay on Saturday mornings. The familiar banter with the crowd noise in the background with beautiful back drops let you know the college football slate of games is about to start.
There are the signs in the background where fans show of their humor and wit, and of course the show finale when Lee Corso makes his headgear pick for the game of the week.
This week the game of the week is the Advocare Cowboys Classic between the Florida State Seminoles and the Oklahoma State Cowboys. They’re playing at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, a city halfway between Dallas and Fort Worth.
The ESPN College GameDay crew has posted up outside of AT&T Stadium before, but for this game they’re in downtown Ft. Worth in Sundance Square. It isn’t that far from the campus of Texas Christian University, a Big 12 school like Oklahoma State.
Ft. Worth is a beautiful city with a rich cowboy and western history, making for a beautiful back drop and a very Texas feel to the show.
