Team USA will kick off Group C action today in Spain against the Finnish National team as they try to get a head start on group play with their first game. On the surface, the game seems like a pretty easy matchup for Team USA as the best players in America are going up against a country better known for hockey than basketball.

Don’t stereotype the Fins, as Team USA has things to figure out before they go on a run that sees them dominate the World Cup. That being said, Group C is relatively soft when it comes to who can stand in the way of Team USA and unless Finland gives them a run for their money, things should get off to a nice start for the Americans.
