The Georgia Bulldogs did not get off to the type of start they wanted in their season-opener against the Clemson Tigers on Saturday.
The Tigers marched 70 yards in 12 games, capped by a one-yard touchdown by D.J. Howard.
The Bulldogs have since rebounded. Heisman Trophy candidate Todd Gurley broke off a 23-yard touchdown run in the first to tie the game at 7. Then, just before the first quarter came to an end, quarterback Hutson Mason scored on a two-yard run to give the Bulldogs the lead.
Mason has the difficult task of replacing Aaron Murray but he does have a leg up, starting when Murray was injured last season.
You can watch Mason’s touchdown below.
