First of all, let’s admire Kentucky safety A.J. Stamps’ brilliant one-handed form on this interception. Bravo, young man. Well-done. Who says you need two hands on the ball? One hand is plenty, at least in this case.
And now, let’s make jokes about UTM QB Dylan Favre throwing interceptions just like his daddy. Oh goodness.
Well, if Dylan needs a shoulder to cry on after throwing that pick, he knows exactly where to go. His father has plenty of experience in getting over the crushing disappointment of being picked off.
Brett Favre: “Don’t worry Dylan, interceptions are going to happen. A lot. Way too much, probably. But you can’t let it get you down son. But you just have to pick yourself up, dust yourself off, go back out there and throw another interception.
“Whatever you do, don’t let interceptions change your gunslinger mentality. Just keep winging the ball around like there’s no tomorrow. Remember Dylan, discipline is for cowards.
“Also, remember never to send pictures of your penis to women. That goes without saying.”
A.J. Stamps is off to a nice start with Kentucky this year. Dylan Favre, not so much.
