Queens Park Rangers come into Match Week 3 with no wins through their first two games of the season. Sunderland is unbeaten in their first two games and are looking for their first win against a struggling QPR team.
“I think it is going to be a very tough game, you don’t see to many teams in the world lose lots of games in a row so sooner or later they are going to get a win,” Sunderland boss Gus Poyet said, via the club’s website.
“They’re at home and they need to win so their attitude and desire is going to be immense, we need to make sure we cope with that and at the same time take advantage of that desire and control the game the best we can.
He continued: “My aim is to keep performing and take the moments we have – we keep improving, the team is strong and we are solid.”
