The 2014 FIBA World Cup gets underway on Saturday morning, with USA basketball making their first outing of the tournament against Finland at Bizkaia Arena in Barakaldo, Basque Country, Spain.

The United States is heavily favored to make it to the gold medal game on Sept. 14, but first they must live up to the expectations and cruise through the group stage before knocking down opponents when the eliminations start in the Round of 16.

Team USA and Finland are playing in Group C, along with Turkey, Dominican Republic, Ukraine and New Zealand.

All of the USA basketball games will air on either ESPN and ESPN3.com and you can check out the team’s schedule below:

  • Aug. 30: USA-Finland, 3:30 p.m., ESPN
