The Florida State Seminoles narrowly survived a scare in their opening game on Saturday night against the Oklahoma State Cowboys, who took the defending champions and Heisman winner Jameis Winston right down to the wire. As far as Winston goes, while not terrible, he did not have a night like he normally does, which included two interceptions.

Now some will undoubtedly say that his off-the-field transgressions got in his head from this past offseason, which as we are all aware, included stealing some crab legs from a Publix. For this, Winston was suspended from the baseball team for a few games, paid a fine and was forced to do community service.

But come now, we know that opposing fans were not going to let it go. Winston will be crucified whenever he’s away from the confines of Doak Campbell Stadium in Tallahassee.

Kind of like he was by this Oklahoma State fan who suggests that Winston provided her with some delicious seafood.

I know, she’s not talking about the seafood, but you get the gist of it.

It will be a long season ahead of heckling for the reigning Heisman winner. And, too, as we saw tonight, it might be a long season on the field as well.
