After teams around the NFL announced their 53-man rosters on Saturday, it was time for the franchises to finalize their practice squads and the Pittsburgh Steelers have officially announced the ten players that they have decided to bring back.

More from NFL

Pittsburgh brought back cornerback Shaquille Richardson and tight end Rob Blanchflower, who were selected by the team in the fifth- and seventh-round of the 2014 NFL Draft, respectively.

The Steelers have also added defensive ends Josh Mauro and Nick Williams, wide receivers Derek Moye and C.J. Goodwin, outside linebacker Howard Jones, safety Ross Ventrone, running back Josh Harris and offensive tackle Alejandro Villanueva.

That gives the Steelers seven rookies on the ten-man practice squad.

Villanueva is an interesting name, as he was trying to make the transition to defensive lineman after playing offensive line and wide receiver in college at West Point. Villanueva was released by the cross-state rival Philadelphia Eagles, but now he will get another opportunity in Pittsburgh, where he will be returning to offensive line.
