The former Florida State Seminoles’ defensive coordinator is entering his second-year as the Wildcats’ head coach and has already shown a great improvement on the recruiting trail, which he hopes will translate to their play on the field.
The Wildcats got off to a solid start in 2014, blowing out the Tennessee-Martin Skyhawks 59-14 last week. They expected a little bit more of a challenge on Saturday when they welcomed Frank Solich’s Ohio Bobcats into town, but that might not be the case.
The Wildcats got on the board early when Patrick Towles found Dorian Baker for an eight-yard score. Then, on the next drive, Stanley Williams busted out a 53-yard touchdown run.
