After allowing the Detroit Lions to score on each of their first two possessions – a 76-yard and a 16-yard touchdown pass, both from Matt Stafford from Calvin Johnson.
The Giants cut the lead to 14-7 on a touchdown pass from Manning just before the half but the Lions added a pair of field goals to make it 20-7. Then, Manning threw his second interception of the night and it resulted in a five-yard touchdown run by Stafford, which gave the Lions a 27-20 lead.
After the play, Manning gave the classic Manning family “Manning face.”
