If you are one of the people who was watching on Saturday, September 6th as the Ohio State Buckeyes took on Virginia Tech at Ohio Stadium in Columbus, then you witnessed on of the most awesome halftime performances you could possibly imagine.

When the Buckeyes’ marching band took the field, they paid tribute to the legacy of TV Land. One by one they transitioned between theme songs from all of your favorite TV Shows that date back to well before some of their current students were even born like I Dream of Jeannie, the original Hawaii Five-O, The Brady Bunch, Batman and more.

They also paid tribute to the shows of today like the HBO Original Series Game of Thrones and the NBC series The Office.

Considering the show has been running for over twenty five season, we guess that The Simpsons would count as both a show of yesteryear and today, but nonetheless it was pretty amazing to watch as Bart Simpson rode his skateboard over the ramp.

You should seriously check this out for yourselves. Here is a look at the Ohio State Marching Band as they paid tribute to TV Land during halftime against Virginia Tech.

While we will admit that watching Bart Simpson jump the ramp with his skateboard, we turned into a screaming, Westeros-loving fan girl when we watched one of Daenerys’ dragons breathe smoke as the epic Game of Thrones theme played.

Unfortunately, the Buckeyes weren’t able to pull out the win as they fell to the Virginia Tech Hokies 35-21 in their first loss of the season; however, the fans in attendance still received one heck of a show.

What was your favorite part of Ohio State’s TV Land tribute? Did you prefer the blast from the past or the homage to the more current series? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
