WWE Legend Jake “The Snake” Roberts out of the hospital, fighting cancer again (Video)

The past few months have certainly not been kind to WWE Legend Jake “The Snake” Roberts.

It is common knowledge that Jake had suffered from years of substance abuse and had fallen into a pretty bad state.

After finally getting his life back in order and back to a much healthier state thanks to friends like Diamond Dallas Page, Jake suffered a rather huge setback when he found himself in the hospital.

Unfortunately, this isn’t the first setback that Roberts has seen. He recently had to have surgery to have cancer removed from his leg. According to his friend Diamond Dallas Page, it was believed that he may have needed one more surgery on his leg to ensure that all the cancer was gone; however, his situation was no longer life threatening.

Then, last week Roberts found himself in a hospital once again, this time with double pneumonia. Both those closest to him as well as his fans were incredibly worried due to the fact that he remained unconscious for almost three days while he healed from the illness.

Now, there is both good news and bad news that has arisen from this situation.

The good news is, Jake is out of the hospital and looking as good as he possibly can for someone who has been through the ordeal that he has over the course of the last week. Unfortunately, he did not walk away from the hospital with an entirely clean bill of health.

It would seem as if he will be doing battle once again with cancer. According to video obtained by TMZ, Roberts announced during a live wrestling event called Future Stars of Wrestling in Las Vegas on Saturday night that he will have to have more surgery performed, this time on his chest, to remove the cancer from his body.

You would think that something like this would get him down in the dumps, but he is taking the news surprisingly well. He credits his faith not only in God, but the people around him for the confidence that he will make it through his current ordeal.
