Through two weeks of the season, BYU looks like a team that could end up crashing the College Football Playoff when the season is all said and done.
BYU opened up the season in Week 1 with a big win over UConn, but Week 2 was supposed to be their real test of the season last week, as they took on a Texas Longhorns team that was out for revenge after getting embarrassed by the Cougars last season. Well, they didn’t get their revenge, as BYU blew them out once again, this time to the tune of 41-7.
With a rather easy schedule in front of them the rest of the way, it’s not too early to start thinking about an undefeated BYU team down the road clamoring for a spot in the first College Football Playoff.
But to get there, they have to take it one game at a time, and that all starts with Houston on Thursday night.
