In the past few days, it’s been made evident that the NBA wants Zoran Dragic, the Slovenian who has put up good numbers in the 2014 FIBA World Cup and is the brother of current Suns point guard Goran Dragic.

More from NBA

The Dragic brothers led Slovenia in scoring against the United States Tuesday with 13 points for Goran and 11 for Zoran. While Slovenia still took a heavy loss, Zoran looked impressive.

Goran Dragic had one of the best seasons of his career with Phoenix last season when he finished with 20.3 points, 5.9 assists, 3.2 rebounds and 1.4 steals per game.

Now, his brother Zoran is getting some serious attention and two days ago multiple teams were interested including the Dallas Mavericks, Miami Heat, Orlando Magic, San Antonio Spurs and Phoenix Suns.

Now, it looks like the Suns are a heavy front runner for the Slovenian according to La Opinión de Málaga writer Rafael Molina Guerra.

Other front runners brought to the discussion Friday were the Sacramento Kings and Indiana Pacers, but with the Suns’ cap space and just 13 players on their roster right now, it looks like they have room for the second brother.

Zoran’s buyout, 750,000, Euros translates to 579,798 U.S. dollars, which is less than the $600,000 NBA teams are allowed to pay for international buyouts without it counting against the cap.

If the deal goes through, this would be the second set of brothers the Suns have on the team as the Dragic’s would join Marcus and Markieff Morris.
