The Chicago Bears, with starting wide receivers Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery listed as questionable with injuries for Sunday’s game at San Francisco, signed a pair of receivers and an offensive lineman from their practice squad on Saturday.

Per Pro Football Talk, the Bears promoted wide receivers Josh Bellamy and Chris Williams and center Taylor Boggs from the practice squad.

Marshall is dealing with an injured ankle, while Jeffery is slowed by a hamstring problem. Center Roberto Garza has already been ruled out of Sunday’s game because of an ankle injury, necessitating the move to bring up Boggs.

To make room on the 53-man roster, the Bears released fullback Tony Fiammetta and cornerback Kelvin Hayden and waived quarterback David Fales.

Bellamy, 25, was active for five games with the Washington Redskins last season and did a bit of kick returning for the Kansas City Chiefs in 2012. He has never caught a pass in a regular season game.

Bellamy was originally signed by the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent out of Louisville in 2012 and signed onto the San Diego Chargers practice squad after he was released at the end of training camp last season. The Redskins added him to their practice squad when he was released by San Diego.

Chicago claimed him off waivers from Washington in April.

Williams, an undrafted free agent from New Mexico State, was on the practice squads of the New Orleans Saints and the Bears last season and returned to Chicago’s practice squad after clearing waivers at the end of the preseason.

Boggs was active for two games with the Bears last season after spending 2012 on the practice squad of the New York Jets.
