It hasn’t been a good day so far for the Virginia Tech Hokies against East Carolina, but Isaiah Ford did his best to turn things around with this sick one-handed TD grab late in the second.

More from College Football

Replay showed that the catch probably should not have counted but the referees upheld it so, it’s a real catch. Sorry justice-seekers.

That catch gave the Hokies their first score of the game and cut the deficit to 21-7. So maybe that will help Virginia Tech establish some confidence going into the half and keep them from getting upset by East Carolina.

Yeah, East Carolina was up 21-0 on Virginia Tech. I guess Virginia Tech was still celebrating beating Ohio State last week. Somebody forgot to inform them that they had to play another game.

I’m sure the Hokies will pull it together in the second half and smoke East Carolina. No way they’re getting taken down by frigging East Carolina a week after torching Ohio State.

I don’t want to live in a universe where East Carolina can beat the Hokies a week after the Hokies chewed up Ohio State. My brain can’t live with the implications of such a thing.

If you need me, I’ll be over in the corner clutching my knees and gently sobbing.
