It’s been a rough week for the NFL, but with Sunday here we finally get to talk about what happens on the field, not off.

While we learned a little last weekend, it’s still early in the season and anything we think we know can be rendered null and void this week.

So it’s worth looking at what happened last week and seeing how it applies to NFL’s Week 2.

On a general note, ESPN’s Len Pasquarelli wrote a piece at ESPN back in 2009 about how bad it is to go 0-2 in the NFL. CBS Sports’ Pat Kirwan reiterated that point this week as well, so for the teams which lost last week this could be a critical weekend.

So keep that in the back of your mind as you watch the games Sunday and know that for some teams, the season could already be on the line.
