Arthur Jones injury: Colts announce high ankle sprain; will not return
By Josh Sanchez
The Indianapolis Colts made a splash in free agency by adding Arthur Jones to the defense, so they were holding their breath when he had his ankle rolled in the first half.
Jones was placed on a cart and taken off the field.
Just before halftime, the Indianapolis Colts announced that Jones had suffered a high ankle sprain and he will not return to tonight’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
The timetable for Jones’ recovery will depend on the severity of the high ankle sprain. As we have seen in the past, players can miss around four to six weeks. We will have to wait for an official medical update from the team before speculating on Jones’ return any further.
